I know this topic's been addressed many times - but I've narrowed it down to a few I'd like to have, just cant decide between those.

Here's my choices :

5x7 KC HiLiTES 740 Black Steel 100-Watt Long Range Light System
$109.95

3x Explorer Pro Comp 9004 Black Plastic 6" Spot Light $98.00 (after wiring is bought)

5600k HID CONVERTED Explorer Pro Comp 9131 Pro Comp 8""Rnd 130W Blk
$130.00

I say use the 5x7's. You're gonna mount them on the inside on top, correct? These will put out plenty of light as well as still allow enough air flow into the grille for the radiator and A/C condenser. I have a set of Blazer brand yellowish fog lights on top of my bumper in the top mounting brackets and they are F'ing bright and go long distance. I can't post a picture since I'm on my iPhone but there's pictures in my bumper build thread iirc. I paid $15 for them a couple years back and finally installed them.

I personally believe that the 5x7 KC's will look the best with the brush guard.

yup, im gonna say the the 5" x 7" will look the best. it will match the look of the rectangular headlights.

and the guard is pretty squared off too. 5X7s get my vote

Here's my rectangular lights. I have two 8" round Hella long distance lights with covers, two dual yellow fog and white driving lights (seen in 3rd picture), about six sets of rectangular white driving lights like the yellow ones on now all sitting in my shed not being used, some have only been taken out of the packages for mock up but never installed.

They look white in this picture but are yellow...

I'm a fan of round lights on brush guards (like I have on mine) but definitely do not go with the spotlights. I'm gonna have to vote for the rectangular KCs based on light output.

Round here as well...
6" Pro Comps FTW!

Really now :)

I might have to snag those to put on the rack I bought from you! But of course Luke does have first dibs as this is his thread and also if you're even selling them lol

Thanks, Ex- There's these that I've also considered.. just maybe upgrade the bulb. That's what I had on my previous explorer - Kmart specials, 15 a pop. They started rusting about a year in, so I took them apart, steel wool'd the outter shell, and primed/painted them black.

I have amazon prime shipping, so they'd ship free too.. I just liked the pro-comps because they had a black housing from the factory.

i was looking and the the black ones
i had two of them and at the time i did not want to make the bracket to fit my application

6" pro comp best price and with factory fogs it looks good and if you get the black backed factory headlights where you see a round chrome reflector and black around it would really go better.

every thing on the truck is round so round is my choice

Well, thanks for all of the input, everyone!

While still deciding, I happened upon a deal on Craigslist - Scored a pair of KC HiLites #233 for half price on craigslist - never installed. Going to pick them up tomorrow.
