Which rear end in the truck??

Trying to figure out what rear end is in my daughters 2002 Explorer. I have been looking and the biggest issue I'm finding is where the sensors are mounted. It says either Knuckle mounted sensors or diff mounted sensors. I call the Ford dealer with the VIN and they told me it had knuckle mounted, but when I look I do not see and sensors in the knuckles. Are they right at the end where the wheels go on? or inside farther. I pulled the numbers off the tag on the carrier and they say:
SPM V 652B
L73 88 2c24

I know it has the limited slip with 3:73 gears but this sensor mounting thig is driving me crazy and I don't want her to spend the money on the wrong part.

The rear wheel sensor is mounted on top of the rear Diff and is held on with a 13mm bolt and a 2 wire connector. Remove the hold down bolt and turn and twist as you pull up and it comes right out.
