Hey All!

My speedometer light positioned at 45mph (12 o'clock) randomly comes and goes normal to dark. It's only the one bulb/position. The rest of the instrument panel are normal. This issue arose last spring after major work was done under the hood... I suspect a wiring harness was injured or a ground connection weakened, etc> -but, whatever the case, I'm open for ideas, PLEASE! -seems odd to me that the rest of the instrument lights are not failing in unison?!?!

As always, BIG THANK-YOU!

Have you changed those bulbs out.

So you are taking about one of the illumination bulbs in the cluster?

I don’t think it’s under hood wiring if that is the case as the power for those bulbs and grounds are all contained in the dash

Uuu could just have a bad bulb socket
Remove cluster and inspect socket, replace
Bulb…
Mine as well do all 6 of the cluster illumination bulbs
