Jeff, it took me about an hour, and the way I calibrated them was to fill the fuel tank first. I let the truck sit in my driveway for a couple hours to cool down all the way. Then I started the truck long enough to note where all the needles pointed. The speedo was a little different. Once I got inside the gauges, and got to the point of pulling the needles, I pulled the post that the tip of the speedo needle rests on at the 0 mph mark (this will let your needle drop below zero). Mine pointed somewhere toward the "R" in the gear selector/indicator. The speedo needle has some "pre-load" to it, if you put the pin back in, then the needle resting on it, the speedo will not read right. You need to install the speedo needle first at the noted point, then push it above "0", put the pin back in, and let the needle fall on it. Just as a precaution, before the whole dash was put back together, I put the instrument cluster back in place, and I paced someone who I told to do 30 mph, just to make sure it was right. The rest of the needles are straight forward on the "calibration". Just make sure that the truck is in the same condititon as when you took them off (i.e. cold, full tank of gas). The only problem I ran into was the wire for the gear selector that ran up to the indicator. I didn't have enough slack in mine to pull my cluster out enough, so I went under the dash, and unhooked the wire from the steering column. Hope this helps.
Thanks AC, I installed the windjammer with the tape. I'm not fond of adding extra holes to the body of my ride. It has held up fine for 3 years, but if you are planning on mounting lights in it somehow, I would suggest mounting it with the screws.
As for the night pic, here it is, sorry it isn't any clearer, I have an older digital camera, and the resolution kinda sucks...
