What kind of adhesive do i use to do this?

i would get some 3M tape, stick the letters on it and cut them out then apply.

Nice idea though; will look like the retro F series and Econoline with "FORD" going across the front lip of the hood.
 






So you de-badged but now you want to re-badge them somewhere else? I don't get it? Anyhow, I know that another member did that on here somewhere and it looked good, soooooo go for it!
 






i know CHRIS ( CHRIS's2005 ) did the explorer forum lettering on his bug gaurd... but ive never seen what you want to do done before... it would lokk good though !!!

:exp:i used an 3m outdoor tape, ive used it before when i had window visors and it worked well. I remember it took forever to get off when i took of the window visors so i figured that should work with these letters.
 












Yep, It does look good. I still remember someone who did this to their hood, also.
