Who makes a 2" body lift for '99 Ranger 4x4?

ALL I can find is 3" body lifts for my '99 ranger 4x4. I want a 2" as I think 3" body lifts are...ugly!!! Doesn't ANYONE make them?! Could I somehow modify a 3" into a 2"? I'm certain it's possible.

Sure you could cut the lift pucks down and source some shorter bolts. As far as the front bumper mount the one on my 02 could be easily modified to only be two inches.

idk if you can do this or not but maybe you could use a 2" performance accessories lift from the 91-94 ford explorer??? You may have to order 3 or 4 extra lift blocks though and the bumper brackets wouldnt work....It's an idea.

Cut the pucks down to 2". Then take the one inch piece that is left over put it under the body mount and you can still use the bolts that came with the 3" lift. Should work on the cab but I doubt it will work on the bed.

Good thought on the bolts and like i said the fron bumper mounts are really simple to modify.

Good ideas...I was thinking of cutting the pucks down to 2" like everyone says...then CAREFULLY cutting the bolts to 2" with a hacksaw, although I'm sure they're Grade 8 bolts and this may be a real PITA. I was also thinking about how to modify the steering shaft spacer (if I could just shorten it by cutting it). I know anything is possible!!!

You probably dont even need the spacer for the steering shaft and if you do it will work fine at the provided length. The sterring shaft is a slip design. Dont mess with cutting the bolts since if your cross thread it into the body mount bushing it will run you around $80 to replace it with a new one.(had one break on my install:thumbdwn The bolts that come in the kit will be to long so just go to a hardware supply house and get the right length bolt. On my ranger its only 10 bolts not sure about your application. Good luck
