In Parsippany Eco'la is good. Tabor road tavern excellent but pricey and crowded. Blackthorn inn nice pub. MT holleran town pub not bad. There are quite a few good joints in Parsippany.

I'm in North Plainfield, Somerset County!
I am Surrounded by several repair places; Aamco, Strauss, Mineke, & Midas oh and a few right in Plainfield, yet I've gotten no where with my 2 Explorers 95Limited, 00XLS problems and issues!! I am a laid off single mom, and my 21yr old daughter, 22yr old son and Myself are all college students!! I'm so hurt right now because we have 3 cars amongst us with my daughters GEO Tracker and NONE of them are working..... I have changed the valve body on the 95 but still the speedometer doesn't work so I don't know my speed, the OD light is still blinking and engine light is still on... Dash is dead except for those two lights..... I think they taunting me! :wavey::shifty_ey

Hey Camellia301,

Not to belay the obvious, but as you probably figured out already the valve body has nothing to do with the speedometer. The speedo works off of a gear in the output tail housing of the transfer case. But seeing that your whole cluster is dead there may be another issue. You can go to auto zone or advance auto and have the codes read and report them back here for advice.

I'm sure the codes and OD flashing are related to the (probably) not working VSS in the transfer case or trans if it's 2wd? No temp, oil, volts or rpm gauges working? No lites working in the dash? This may just be a fuse. That'd be good. GEM unit could be a culprit too. This would not be good. Well, maybe ok for the DIY job, but not for a shop to do.
