I know most of us have been ripped off at least once, some of us more than we'd like to mention. but I was talking with my wife the other day after realizing we've been ripped again about who is worse or should I say better at rippin: #1 mechanic shops #2 law firms or #3 hospitals "it's a hard one I know" the race is on who do you think will win this race fellow rippies it's a photo finish for me

its #4 for me, people who don't pay attention and post in the wrong forum. J/K although I think you might get a better response if it wasn't in the under the hood section. I think hospitals are the unknown one. They billed my gramps for oxygen, and an ambulance ride to the hospital even though I drove him! I think he almost had another heart attack when he saw that.

oh yeah I ended up in this forum because I was hoping to find out where I can find the engine block numbers on the block itself, cause I beleive the shop that was suposed to swap my engines only swaped my valve covers and tags, old engine 190k while the new one had only 50k miles both indentical 4.0 v6 except one had a bit more rust than the other I should have marked them but I didn't that's what I get for trusting strange mechanic shops live and learn always tag your block when swaping, an expensive lesson for all to learn from this one is on me fellows.

There all scum bags, especially numbers 2 and 3. Fortuntely I got some pretty good mechanic's working on my X now.
