For 33s you should probably go with a 3" body lift but either way, I don't remember what part number the 2" is. I can't even recall anyone who has ever used it.

ok, i did a little digging and came back with this page. Since you probably won't need a steering extension for only 2", you might be able to use a 1st gen explorer kit or maybe even the ranger kit.

There are no body lifts for 2nd gens, the PA853 and 883 that everyone use are both for rangers.

It goes by years because of the steering extension being different. You would need the 853 kit.

I have the 2" Lift, no steering extension needed. Stock E-brake works, cable is long enough, no mods needed there either. Good Luck, post pics when done.

I put a 2 inch body lift, torsion twist, and shackels on my 96 and fit 33x12.5 bfg all terrains with just a little bit of trimming on the front fenders.

Not sure of the part number but it was one of the PA ranger lifts

I put a three inch Rough Country body lift on my 99 mountaineer. But I ended up having to use one from a ranger. Everything went smooth except for the back bumper brackets wouldn't line. And I haven't gotten around to making brackets so I have a little gap between the rear gate and the bumper. It already had about 2-3 inches of suspension lift on it when I bought it. And I'm running 33X12.50s on 15X8's with no problems. When I put the wider wheels I had to trim the corner of the front bumper about .25 of an inch.

thanks a ton for all the help :us:
