will 2003 instument pane work in 2002 explorer xlt?

I have a 2003 instrument panel, the connections look the same, the lights have a different config. Can I use in a 2002?

I'm not 100% on it, but I think your main issue is whether you have the information center or not. If you switch with one that has the same setup as yours, then your biggest problem is the warning lights in the wrong locations. I recall a Mountaineer instrument cluster swap into an Explorer had the same issue, but the setup worked. Search the forum, it might be on the modified side, I think it may help with what you are looking to do.
