I know it's been discussed before, it looks like the main difference would be the center bore 70.5mm (6th gen Explorer) vs 63.4mm (5th gen Explorer)

a lot of aftermarket rims aren't hubcentric, and a lot of times you can get away with not using hub rings. Just wondering if anyone has tried installing 6th gen rims without hub rings ?

thanks

Are you talking about your Ram 1500?

2020+ explorer oem wheels on a 2011-2019 explorer
Depending on the trim level, not all 2011-2019 Explorers have the same size wheels. Some have 18" (Base, XLT) and others have 20" Limited, Sport).
I'm guessing you're looking at putting a 255/55R20 on an Explorer with 255/50R20? I don't recall anyone doing that with or without rings.
While the center bore would be the same on all the 5th gens, it's the overall diameter that is important.
This is the only thread I found on 2020 on 5th gen and there was no resolution. 2020 wheels on 2013 explorer
