I am looking at a set of wheels off of a 94-01 mustang GT (not cobra) to put on my V8 AWD X. I was looking on boltpatterns.com and they show a diffrence in center bore. The X has a 70.6 center bore and the mustang has a 70.3. Is that going to be a problem? I didn't think that the Xs had hubcentric rims but I have a feeling I am wrong. I was hoping they would fit as I am low on cash and I can get these fairly cheap with good tires:) any info would be great.

Thanks

I also looked and stock cobra wheels have the same center bore....I don't see why they wouldn't fit if cobra wheels fit.....anybody?

Mustang wheels on 2nd Gen ...

Cobra and GT Mustang wheels fit just fine...Here is a pic of my Explorer Sport with a set of GT wheels on it...

These are 16"'s in the picture but I am running 17"s now...Unfortunately no pics yet...

Thanks for posting the pic and confirming that for me...

yes it is a good price, however; I cannot afford that right now and the mustang wheels are 150 for all four with 80% read on the tires

The tires on the mustang wheels will be far to short for an explorer

I have the same wheels and was wondering if they would fit and how they would look. What size tires are they? I see your missing a few center caps, were yours stolen too?

No center caps are still around...

they simply are resting in the bottom drawer of one of my toolboxes...I was running 225/60-16's on those wheels.. They came off of my lowered 84 Ranger V8... The 17" wheels I have on the Explorer now are 235/55-17 and 275/55-17....

Combined with the KYB GR2 shocks and the suspension work, this truck handles better than the lowered Ranger ever thought about...No it's not my Charger but it can carry around a lot more cargo than my Charger...
