Will a 98 door fit on a 97?

Does anyone know if you can put a door from a 98 (same model) on a 97? I've seen junkyards list the 95-97's together and the 98-00's together, so I was wondering, but not seeing them side-by-side, they look pretty much the same.

They are the same. The only difference was the rear hatch, rear bumper & front bumper.

What about the wiring?

I found a 97 door front drivers (same color) to put onto mym '00 XLT... both have keyless entry...

Does anyone know if the wires will match up?

They will be really close. My 99 Limited has a 91 LF door, and the others are 93 and 94 doors.

The older rear doors had different window regulators, but besides the wiring change of 1995 you can swap any of the doors. Options like the keyless entry or memory seat would require some wire swapping.

If it is a rear door, check your tint... If you have the orangey tint for some reason, the '98 will have the charcoal tint...

went to purchase the body parts (door & fender) COLOR was close, but off... his paint code was BA mine is B2. looks like his is redder gold, mine is a greener gold. SO back to the waiting game... ergh..

I see loads of gold explorers on the road, i am sure it will only be a matter of time before another one gets banged up.

BUT HEY... i was able to buy a knuckle and upper/lower control arms for 25 each... gets me on my way to the highways at least.
