Will air box fit?

I found out that my air box is missing the entire side letting filthy air into my engine. I found one off of a 2000 Explorer and I was wondering if it would fit my 94 Explorer. Thank you.

It may but the mounts that hold the box down are probably different. Anyone else want to chime in on this?

Moving to General Explorations.. Dunno how this is considered an emergency.

No it won't. You'll need to find a '91-'94 box. And how can yours be missing!? I do believe it is a slight emergency

Is it the bottom side or the top side. If it's the bottom side than the air should still be getting filtered and it's basically the swiss cheese air box mod then. Which allows more air into the engine and gives better performance.

go to a junkyard or ebay or something! I had my airbox taped up for a while, I had a hole just like you, but I didn't find it in time, cost me my fuel pump! Not fun! :roll: -michelle

How can a hole in your air box kill your fuel pump!?

It clogged my fuel filter with stuff.

How can it clog your fuel filter? Your fuel filter is on the drivers side frame rail.. Having an open intake/airbox like a KKM or K&N shouldn't cause your intake to clog up unless you somehow managed to suck the filter into the air intake.
