will not start

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and have some questions. I have a 2000 explorer and it will not start. Nothing but a click at the starter solenoid. Battery has been checked and charged. A friend told me it could be the starter relay. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Are you battery terminals clean?
After that its either a bad starter/starter solenoid or corroded cables to the starter.

Agreed. Does it just click repeatedly, or one click then off. Also, when it clicks, do all the lights and stuff go off. If so you have a bad connection at the battery. Mine did this and the wires kept falling off the posts.
