will not start

Explorer wont start? The starter is good had it tested.when I try to start it all i hear is a loud high speed wining. a buddy told me to check flywheel it looks good? what should check next?

will it eventually start after 5 minutes of turning the switch? and has this happened before? Also how about when the weather is warmer still the same problem?

I would check the spark plugs first. Lastly, what other problems are you experiencing now? (Rad coolant leaks or burns, etc.)

No,it just makes the wining noise,but it was making the same wining sound for 2 weeks before it would not start any more just makes the wining sound now,and dont turn the engine over just the starter spins

sounds like the flywheels is stripped or the solenoid isnt engaging the the starter all the way

From your description the starter is spinning, but the solenoid did not engage the gear to the flywheel. If the starter was tested at a reputable facility the I would double check your connections. Sounds like you are not engaging the solenoid. If wiring is good, you need to pull the starter and have it bench tested.
