Saw a saleen repilca 17x8,5.94 backspacing and an offset of +38. I have a 97awd merc. Will it fit?

theoretically it should fit..... you may encounter however rubbing problems

Saw them on superbuttires.com and they are cheap!But i spoke to a salesman and he said that they won't fit unless you use spacers. They are made by AMERICAN EAGLE ,you can buy them direct from eagle.

anthony, are you sure thats the right address you gave me? if you could cut and paste the exact url to the wheels, that would be great. its not working. i dont see why they wouldnt fit. cobra r's are 17x9 with 6" of backspacing and people use them without spacers - granted they sometimes get a little rub, but i can live with that. i got tires here that i need rims for...fast, heh

Sorry tbomb for not replying sooner but been working.The correct address is wwww.superbuytires.com. They told me because of the offset being +38 the rims won't clear the calipers without the use of spacers.
