Ive got a 93 explorer which is a 4wd auto. This truck has already had alot of problems on and off the road. I am looking to make it stronger off road. I've got 31 all terrains and everything else is stock. My plans include a 4" lift upfront with all the necessary steering adjustments. I want to try and do a spring over axle conversion for the back although I have no knowledge of this at all. I want to replace the shocks. This is as far as I've gotten and would love some info on how to make this little explorer perform. Ive started looking into new lockers, different gears, and stronger axles yet I dont know anything about this. I am paying off a lot of debt for a dead transmission, towing charges, ticket charges, a new fuel pump, and a new steering box. I need to get some money and pour it in to this truck. I think the next thing I buy will be a winch and find a way to mount it just in case. Any help would be greatly appreciated especially from anyone who has done this sort of thing.

You're gonna ahve an uneven truck if you go 4" up front, and soa in the back--
I say go soa in back, and 5.5" up front aka-- get the superlift 5.5" lift system
Try using the search feature on the site, and you will finds tons of info.
