I'm not following...what window sticker r u talking bout ?

the one that comes new in a truck..with the list of options,price..ect ect

just wondering if i could get one for a ford truck. it was just a shot in the dark to see if i could.

Gotcha :D Not sure...are you just looking for specs on your 96 ? Cause you don't need the sales sticker for that. Or are you looking for like the option package, price list on that year explorer. And may I ask why ?

no i have the sticker for my truck. and i know all about mine. but my uncle has a 95' explorer and we where talking about it. he thought i would be kinda cool to have the window sticker. so i was just wondering if it was a possiblity?

thank you!!

i e-mailed the dealer that sold it new. i will see what they have to say.

let us know if you can.
If it is possible I would want one for my Ex

that would be raly neat.

What you are looking for is the "Maroney" sticker. If I remember correctly, these come from the factory, and the dealer cannot print them out (which could lead to dealers swapping out factory equipment, changing prices, etc.). The original stickers do get for all vehicles on a dealers lot when there are price changes, such as GM recently lowering the Trailblazer prices by $2,000, but these are sent from the company.

When I purchased my Sport the dealer said he could make me a copy of the window sticker but they keep the original. After telling him it's my first new vehicle and a little persuasion he gave me the original and kept the copy for their records.
So ... if they keep the sticker in your sales record (?) you could try going back to the dealer and see if he could make you a copy. Just a thought.

That's interesting, I've never heard a dealer say that, the original sticker has always been in the glove box when I picked up my cars.

This is a longshot, but when I changed the headliner in my '83 Toranado, there was a copy between the roof and the shell that the headliner was connected to. I was told it was some sort of security thing (like the VIN on all the parts that they do today).
Not sure if it's worth taking apart though.
