3M tint matches the best. I just done my 05 X and 01 Expedition and you can not tell. It all looks factory.

this is what it will look like with 20% on the front.

good point. i just got pulled over on sunday for mine. got lucky and only got a warning though.

I've been told 15% is identical, but most places only carry 20% as the closest

20% matches good. I ordered tint off E-bay that is precut for the 2 front windows. It matches real good and easy to apply. Also cost around $14 if I remember right. The bestpart about it is the fact it's precut to the front windows perfectly.

i eventually wanna tint all my windows

actually i had it put on by a local tint shop....didn't cost alot at all. was cheaper than having them put their own tint on. onlyproblem i had was trying to find one that would do it...most prefer not to since they can't warranty the tint. but this is the second vehicle i used the precut tint on and never had a problem.

those pre cut tints were easy to install? i ask this because i have heard the opposite

I would think it would be hard...one little mistake, and you are screwed. I would think it would be near impossible to line up properly.

carbon 15..i have a guy that comes to my shop that tints for dealers (BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, ect..) and he uses 15 and comes out like stock

20% sunguard matches perfectly

just put 20% on my gf's .....looks close enuf from the outside but from the inside the back ones are lighter...

my state law is 35% and the shop told me they are really cracking down on illegal tints. plus i dont know how to pass an inspection. Is it even worth doing a 35% tint on the front 2 windows? does anyone have pics with 35 on?

35 is worth it. It's decently dark.

Here's mine with 35%
