95 explorer xlt power everything

my power windows only work from the driver's controls. none of the passenger window controls, front or back. the window lock is off but they still will only work from the driver's control

any clue on what the problem is?

some people have posted that they have to clean the lock switch as stuff gets in there (because of location) and as a result even though the switch looks off from the operator point of view, the contacts aren't happening.
 






I get a similar problem and after a few turns of the window lock they work fine for a day or so, then they go bad again. I know its the switch but i'm lazy and don't care anymore.
 






ive had it apart and cleaned it but it still doesnt work, it hasnt for 2 weeks
do you think the lock might have gone bad?
 






check the switch continuity / discontinuity (ie. operation) with a meter to see if it is working. In 96 schemes, R/LB carries "control signals" (ie. power from the master control unit to the other window controls.... it is likely broken somewhere at the door post as this area causes the wiring to fatigue and break from opening and closing the door.
