windshield replacement question

i have a 95 ranger 2.3 and im going to replace the windshield on it, i found a good windshield at a junkyard but it is on a 99 2.3 ranger? will it fit on my 95

hello fellow manitoban! i would have to say, yes, but if your not sure, phone a place like boyd, and they will be able to tell you for sure. call the one on st. marrys, thats all they do at that one. are you going to put it in yourself, or have someone do it for you?

im going to put it in myself, i went to the wrecker and measured it for length, height and corner to corner and it seems to be the same, im going to phone boyd tomorrow thanks for the advice, nice to see some explorer/ranger enthusiasts in manitoba

if you have never cut out a windshield before, bring some soapy water, or a few cans of foamy window cleaner, and a few olfa blades/knife (the ones with breakaway blades), also pair of gloves. from the inside, spray around the perimeter of the windshield and run the knife up or down it. the foam, or soap acts like a lubricant, and will makes things way easier. i used to work for boyd in selkirk, and did windshields there for about a year and a half.

i asked them to take it off, i dont really have time to do it myself but it should be ready on thursday. ive done a rear window before so this shouldnt be much more complecated

which type of window was it. a gasket type, or urethane type. there is a big difference.

eurothane, they broke the window at the yard so they got me a brand new one for my car for 150 going to try and install it today
