if you have never cut out a windshield before, bring some soapy water, or a few cans of foamy window cleaner, and a few olfa blades/knife (the ones with breakaway blades), also pair of gloves. from the inside, spray around the perimeter of the windshield and run the knife up or down it. the foam, or soap acts like a lubricant, and will makes things way easier. i used to work for boyd in selkirk, and did windshields there for about a year and a half.
