windshield washer fluid problem

my windshield washer fluid is full, but every time i push the button in to spray nothing happens most of the time. it will spray out washer fluid but usually not on the first try or second or thrid etc. does anyone know what might be causing this?

Spray the opening with WD-40 or brake cleaner. You have to do it from a hose leading to the nozzle.

If you're gonna use wd-40 or brake cleaner fluid, make sure you cover the nozzle with cloth or something so that the fluid doesn't go all over your explorer. And to be safe, wash the area around the nozzle with soap and water so that the paint won't get damaged in any way. I like to play it safe.

Thanks for adding this. I remember getting a little WD-40 on the windshield, and it makes a lot of blurry marks. It's also a little hard to get off completely, since it sticks to the glass.

the button might also be messed up in that combo switch mine takes a few pushes to get it to work.

when i push my button it nothing happens, wiggle it a little tray again a couple times and it works, mine dont make noise like likes trying to spary (like it does when its empty) so wouldnt it be the button?
