A guy that I work with used to work in professional auto racing. He mentioned something about running low profile winter tires all year. Dunlop makes the Winter Sport M2 which comes in a 265-55-18 that looks pretty awesome and has great reviews:

Anyone have any thoughts about running this all year on an X? The Tire Rack reviews say that it handles excellent in both wintry and dry conditions, and that the treadwear is very good considering the winter tire badging.
This is a new topic to the forum, so I hope to get lots of feedback with experiences and research.
THANKS!!
