Wipers Stuck

My 95 X front wipers are stuck in the up position. This morning i had ice down near the pivot on the hood and they stoped in the up position. Now they don't move at all. Any thoughts on what I might have done?

A few possibilities: burned out fuse, burned out or stripped gears in the wiper motor, or stripped threads in wiper arms.

Could also be a broken connection between the motor and the wiper arm linkage. Can you hear the motor running?
