wireing problem

well i though i had some burnt out bulbs but i didnt. i have a wireing problem. one of the lights behind the speedometer goes out and the fog light button and the rear defrost button and the lights behind the dimmer and the headlamp switch. they all randomly go out and back on sometimes. i have half my dash ripped apart trying to find it. problem is how do i fine it? i dont really know what im doing when it comes to electrical. anyone know how to find and fix a wireing problem?

Could it be your GEM. I know it's "brain" controls alot of the interior functions of the truck.

Generic Electronic Module. It's a little computer somewhere in your dash with a bunch of relays in it. It controls everything from interior lights to the 4x4.
 






hmmm i duno. i think i might just take it to ford. i dont really know anyone who knows how to do wireing on cars
