Hi people, I have done a search but can't find what I'm looking for, if there is already a post with the info I need then please let me know.
Right, I have a 98 explorer 4l auto and am about to replace some parts, transfere shift motor and the two hall sensors, I have not been under the car yet as it's been rather wet today, now the question is, what numbered holes on the shift motor harness do the hall sensor wires plug in to? I have two sensors, one with three long wires, blue, green, white/red and the other sensor with three shorter wires, green, white/red, black/green. Like I said I've not had a chance to get under the truck so they might be the same colour as the old ones so will be an easy swop but just in case they are different then this would save me messing about. Thanks, Dave.

Aha that's perfect, exactly what I'm looking for, thanks for helping a fourm noob out, now I must learn to use the search function better!

Make sure you put the sensors all the way in. If the other end from the bolt isn't pushed all the way into the housing, you will get a horrible, loud shreaking noise!!! I know from expierience. Its an unbelievable noise. I thought I had rebuilt mine wrong untill I went on the Borg Warner website.
