I have some wires under the hood of my truck that go somewhere I can't see yet and others that stop dead are lying there.

Any help with ID'ing what they do and if they are of no need how may I remove them

Dangerous routed wires i would say, maybe disconnect the wires from battery and see whats going on.
Maybe there is a amplifier (see a big fuse) inside, in this case a engine bay wiring diagramm would not help.
Good luck

Those are not factory power leads somebody has added them, they are powering some sort of accessory in your truck like stereo or lights or? Maybe consider removing them or at least rerouting

That large wire going to the battery positive is appears to possibly be 4 gauge power wire that was ran to power an aftermarket amplifier. The red arrow points to a fuse holder that possibly takes an AGU fuse.

yep x2, Does the car have a stereo system or alarm installed? Only thing you can do is trace those out hand by hand to find where they go.
