Hey guys, a few questions about wiring for my 4 55w lights I'd like to put on my roof rack:

How can I set up the wiring - 2 separate circuits with 2 lights in series on each? 4 lights in parallel?

How could/did you set up the switch - directly to one switch or through a relay?

Thanks in advance.

On my roof rack lights I have a switch that activates a relay so the switch does not have to carry all those amps. In fact my Hella lights came with the relay. If I remember it was fused also at 35 amps. Both lights are on one circuit. I even have two Hella work lights on the back of the roof rack with the same set up. Works great.

You can set up the lights either on one switch or two. Better control when they are on two switches IMO.
Deffinetly use a relay for each set (2) of lights. You will probably have to extend the wiring that comes with the lights and should do so with the proper size wire. Here is a chart to determin what size you need. http://www.rallylights.com/other/wiring.htm
Taking shortcuts in wiring usually come back and bite you on the ass.
Some drill the roof and some run the wires down the roof racks and in thru the rear hatch. Your choice.
