What I'm looking to do, is take the B/L off mine and swap it right onto another at the same time. This way the bolts off the stock one can go onto mine and the longer ones can go onto the stocker with the blocks... a B/L really ins't hard, but I have no compressor or air tools and it is alot eaisier if you do.

Yeah Splashman. I was going to wait until late winter/early spring and then I was going to try to bribe you into helping me .

Let me know what kind of help/tools you need and we'll work it out. i know a lot of people with shops and connections up here.

As for the other cool thing and you WI boys might want to PM me if interested, the truck is at a Fab shop where 2 buddies and i made rock sliders as well as front bumper with a removable winch pocket and a rear bumper tire carrier. This is seriously going to be some really sick sh*t when it's all done.

Dannyboy - I wanna see some pics before I decide. I've seen some from bumpers and I haven't liked 'em. Also, I love the tire carrier, but I'm not sure if I want to deal with it. I've never had to change a tire, so I've never concidered easier access.

You wanna go on the 16th? The pipeline offers a lot of trail with many levels of difficulty. Mine is still stock and I've had fun out there.

that could work for me, im AWD, so ill feel it on, i dont have AT tires, more all purpose ones, but they hold up well enough in the mud, get back to me on the details, and ive got second dibs on the BL..

I'm looking at doing this after tax season, because I have to use the refund to get the 31s... basically, if you help, you can have the BL and the shackles(I'll take your stock ones) for nothing... It is the 3" with the steering extention and the bumper lift brackets... the rear brackets are going to have to be cut off, cause I had them welded. So you might have to have two brackets for the rear bumper made...

I'm there as long as everything keeps on the up. Since I've had bought my X. I've been laid-off, fired, and unemployeed. Everthing is back on track and I was planning on doing this, so the only thing holding me up is another crisis. I'm not going to lift it if I can't afford new tires and get all the little bugs and things worked out. So far it's looking good.



On the 16th we could meet in Oshkosh. Prolly HWY 44/41 Citgo Gas Station. Times aren't set, but we leave early. Head up there and play, stop for lunch, play some more, and then go home. If I get more ppl interested I may find a place to spend the night for a little after wheel'n fun

I'll post a reminder when it gets closers. Do you have a CB? Not a bad idea to get one. That way you have someone to talk with and people can easily tell you what to watch out for. I'll try and grab by FRS radios so we have something.
