Not to get too off subject, but what kind of wheelin' activities do you do in the Winter, say around Christmas time? See I am driving up with my family to go up there for Christmas and maybe New year's... So I am trying to find some stuff I can do in the truck :) Since I am not from a cold area, and my wife's family doesn't wheel, I didn't know what I should look forward to... except practicing my winter snow driving skills ;)
I'll have to see if I can look some of you guys up the closer I get to making dates, and see about meeting up for some Truck talk if nothing else.

we get drunk and drive through snow filled diary cow pastures becker. LOL

Actually we didn't get too much snow last year but if I'm around I'd be willing to get together, just don't want to break anything and have to spin wrenches in the cold, that would really suck. Oh yeah, I don't drink and wheel since I'm not that good at either LOL. We'll have to hook up though cause I'm looking at moving that way after graduation.

LMAO :D Dannyboy; yeah, it would be cool to meet up... I will keep this thread in mind, and specific names and see if I can't try to get something tenatively planned the closer we get to the end of the year. Thanks.

Last year I went on DEC 23rd. Very little if any snow on the ground, but all the puddles had some ice on them.

It was fun to drive and purposely break through the ice.

Cool, well I should be up there (in Milwaukee specifically) around Dec 18-4 Jan, I think... I will look forward to wheelin' a bit :)
I am trying to allocate a day or two just for driving around in the dirt. Wish I had mud tires :(

Sounds good to me. I'm basically 100% stock and MKE is only an hour and a half from me, and my girlfriend lives down there. Should be easy to meet up.

As far as wheel'n we'd have to head north a bit, 'bout 3 hours from MKE.

What about the Third weekend in Nov. Saturday probably. Just trying to see interest.

It would be a pipeline trip. Depending on work I'd like to make a weekend out of it, camping or cabin'n it.

NOV 16th

I'm going, anyone with me???

Pipeline near Lakewood or Mountain, WI

May stay over night so we can get some nite wheel'n

Just the guy I'm looking for. I'm couting my money (ok future money) and looking into the 3" BL and others to fit the 33" tires like you have. Did you have to cut anything??

Enjoy you trip.

I had to cut about an inch off of the bottom(rear) of my front wheelwells... depending on the backspacing of the rims you run, you may have to trim on the plastic inside your wheelwells too. I have 4" backspacing on my Tailgunners so I didn't have to cut inside at all.

On a side note, if you want to wait untill after winter, I'll give you my 3" B/L with the bumper brackets and everything if you help me remove it... I'll even swap your stock shackles for my Warriors if you want.

Brian isn't this mod contradictory to your sig or is your explorer going up even more???? I know I've been feeding mine well, she's still growing, got 10.5" of lift now but I'm maxed out until a solid axle or something.
As for the other cool thing and you WI boys might want to PM me if interested, the truck is at a Fab shop where 2 buddies and i made rock sliders as well as front bumper with a removable winch pocket and a rear bumper tire carrier. This is seriously going to be some really sick sh*t when it's all done.

Just in time to move it all to AZ hopefuly
