With or Without Running Boards 04

I recently removed my running boards to sand them, and repaint them since they look all beaten up, and starting to fade out.

I was wondering if it looked better with them on, or off. Attached are some pictures.

I know it's dirty, but i went mud driving with it to test the 4x4.

If your significant other (if applicable) is pregnant, then I'd put them back on. Personal experience though! BUT it looks great without them, only thing you'll notice is more mud down the side of the ex.

I think I need to put them back on, I seem to be use to actually stepping on the step boards. I actually hit my shins on the bottom because I was use to them lol.

However the driving experience seems to be better with them off, and not causing too much drag on my explorer.
