Won't disingage?

Thanks Dog, so do i check the ohms at the switch, or the motor, im a carpenter, not an electrician, lol, well, maybe a shade tree mechanic

The tests I posted are for testing the switch. So you disconnect the switch and put the probes from the ohmmeter on the middle two terminals. You should get a reading somewhere in the range given for each switch position.
