wont start???

hi guys! well i was playin in the ranger and then after i was done i parked it. a little while later i went and started it and it started fine. well the exhauste was vibrating super bad so i cut it off right after the muffler. well it wont start now.....i dont think it would start before i cut the muffler off aswell. is it possibly that im out of gas??? i dont have a gas gauge that works. also it will turn over and lope a few times but when you give it gas it doesnt make a difference. it was running fine like 3 hours ago....... anyways any answers would be great. thanks!!

lol........what a smart alek. ummm yeah but its cranking and running sorta for a couple revolutions so i dont think its gas....

...It's your words...The worst thing you can do is repetitively run low on fuel...You will damage your fuel pump.. So again, if you think you might be ot of gas, I would start there..
