Won't stay running

Okay, got off work drove out the gate. Cel came on put truck in park it slowly droped till it shut off. Got back in the truck it starts right back up. Can rev up will not shut off. Put in gear shuts off. What could it be i am dumb founded.

Where the CEL came on as you were driving, I'd probably start by pulling codes. I'd probably also check the vacuum hoses to make sure they are still there, and check fuel pressure.

When it shuts off, does it stumble/lope/hesitate and stall, or does it act like someone turned the key off, or does it act like a manual transmission that you "popped" the clutch?

Okay when you crank it up it runs fine. Then cel pops on and it starts to act up then it just drops in rpm until it shuts off. Do not have a code puller. So can not check codes. DID CHECK ALL HOSES ARE THERE.

You don't need one.. Just a long enough wire to run from the sti to the negative battery, pen, paper. an your set check this website out on it.....http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/?p=13
