Would XLT/XLS tires fit on a Eddie Bauer?

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a 2002 Eddie Bauer explorer, but it came with some really loud mud tires. I found a set of 5 used tires on stock rims from a XLT. I know the sizes are different (235/70r16 vs 245/70r16) but wondered if I could still use them.

The set of 5 stock rims with tires and lug nuts is $400. If they wont work, I will pass and wait though.

Yes, they will work without question if the wheels are from a 2002+ Explorer.
