Sorry if it's posted somewhere or if you guys have been asked a million times but does anyone have a detailed write up on how to install an AAL? I am by no means a grease monkey so if anyone can point me in the right direction of what tools i will need. I would appreciate the help.

One of the easiest things you can do for sure.

it was seriously pretty easy compared to other suspension upgrades I have done .

What does bushings have to do with a aal only one bolt per side after you take u bolts off and after you put the clamp on it can break it if needed. Then put new aal in at angle with new bolt and tighten to snug. Remove clamp and spin aal in line with leaves put weight back on axle and tighten completely and walla done.

I dropped the leafs from the shackles to relieve the spring tension.

That's IF you can get the bolt out of the shackle- which has a bushing in the end of the leaf pack. When I installed shackles, I had one bolt completely stuck in that bushing.
