I'm not sure what to do about this. I've got a 94 XLT 4X4 that spent most of its life in Las Vegas so no body rust. It has been modified cosmetically with wheels, all terrain TAs, billet grill, brush guard, altezza tail lights, bright eyes, remote start, stereo, Edelbrock shocks, neoprine donuts, etc. Interior is in excellent shape and even has the arm rest. I have been trying to sell it since I have a Mountaineer as well and use it mostly. Last fall I noticed a small drip of transmission fluid under the XLT and checked the fluid level. It was a little low so I put the only fluid I had, a quart of Type F and a quart of quickshift, thinking that is for Ford and the leak got worse. Then it started slipping one night and I made it home, but barely. After sitting all winter it will not engage in forward gears, but will in reverse. So now I don't know if I should invest anymore in this to repair it or part it out. I would appreciate opinions and some idea of the value as it sits now and of the parts since they not rusted through and the interior is excellent. I was selling for the cost of modifications as a working 4x4, $3500, but now ???
