Welp. I bought one tonight, so I am happy. Couldn't find that ranger I wanted so I settled for a bigger truck. It is a 1994 f150 extended cab 4x4 short bed with a 5.8 and an e4od auto. 121K on it. bought it from the second owner who has had it for 10 years and 105K miles. Looks like it has been really taken care of. It isn't perfect, but it seems really close! It even has new BFG tires on it. I think it will be a good truck for a while. Got a good deal on it too. It would have been tough to buy a low mile 1992 4.0 manual extended cab ranger for what I paid for this truck. I think it will be easily as reliable (if not more reliable) than the ranger too. Still love the RBV size though...

Oh, and I bought it from a private guy. I looked at the one in auto trader above (equipped exactly the same) and it definitely had an antifreeze leak, and it looked like it leaked oil out of every orifice available. I just hate that. The tranny shifted like crap too. Really had a nice straight body though.

FOR SALE: 1994 Ranger 4.0 extended cab 2x4 automatic transmission. engine has cooling issues, tranny doesn't shift worth a hang and the rear brakes don't work. It has had the front brakes done recently with new wheel bearings. Paint is bad, body is really straight. Runs fine. Drive it to work everyday. Just put (3K miles ago) brand new tires on it with a 40K mile warranty and discounts free replacement warranty.

$750???

LOL! I think the tires/ rims are going on craigslist and the truck is going to scrap! I am going to list a CL add and hopefully someone will want it to resurrect it, but I am not holding my breath.

Kinda wanting a ranger again- same one as I looked for before. MY f150 is nice and comfy but a little rough on gas and big to drive around town like I do everyday! Let me know if anyone sees one or knows of one.

I'll keep my eyes peeled. You never did post any pics of your pretty and new (to you at least) F150 on here. Whyfor not?
