*WTB* single 6k HID light+ballast

I had my left HID and ballast go out. If anyone can sell me a single 6k bulb with the ballast please let me know! thanks! ..or if you know where to get singles let me know.

As cheap as they are, why not just get a new pair so you are sure the bulbs match and so you know you will get plenty of life out of both ballasts?

Just saying.... a 6000K bulb from one manufacturer can be a VERY different color than a 6000K bulb from another. There isn't a lot of quality control or standardization in that industry, and they are not subject to any type of regulation since their product is not meant (legal) for on road use. Yeah... I know that 6000K is a very specific color of light, but, just advertising their product makes light at 6000K isn't really any guarantee that it is.... they get leeway by claiming a tolerance of xx% within their claim, or by saying they are producing bulbs designed to produce light of that color, and that it is defects in the salts that cause differences that are out of their control.

Anyways.... if you want a bulb, get a pair. You can get a pair of bulbs on ebay and a single ballast if you want even, or you could get a pair of replacement bulbs and single replacement ballasts from plenty of distributors.

get another set... One bulb will be brand one and one will be broken in, they wont be equal in color or brightness

Fair enough, and remember, if you ever replace bulbs, replace them in pairs, because, just like dreddog47 said, HID bulbs change color and get dimmer over time. Also, like I said, plenty of distributors sell single replacement ballasts, like DDM tuning or whomever else.
