I thought it was the Tortion keys or balls joints....

So I swaped them out, both keys and all four ball jounts as well as the PS rack and the inner and outer tie rod ends.

the danm Crunchy Squeak is still there I am Severly depresed!!!!

I have a set of Monroe Reflex's coming in tomorrow and the 1" lowering blocks (TT already done) are going on tommorrow as well.

But what else is there to make this sound??

It does it on braking or bumps.

Are you sure it's coming from the front? I've narrowed a similar sound down to my rear leaf springs. The pads between the leafs have worn out and the metal on metal makes it sound like a creaky old jalopy. I can hear it any time stress is put on the leafs. Getting in and out of the truck going over bumps etc. You could always try bouncing it up and down with the the engine off and see if you can hear it. If so it may be your leafsprings too. That'll be the next thing on my agenda when I get some time.

I feels like it coming from under my feet.

I would have put money that it was the Torsion pads....

I'm gonna get a big person to jump up and down to see if I can pin point it...

Not saying the leafs are the source of your noise but here's what I did to prove they were the source of mine.

I jacked up the rear to take the tension off the leafs and let the rear axle hang down. With a little persuasion from a screw driver and pry bar I was able to remove most of the pads (some were missing altogether and some were paper thin). I greased up the area under and over the pads (or where they were suppose to be) and reinstalled what was left of the pads. Guess what... no more jalopy squeeks. I knew it was a temporary fix and the squeeks have just returned after about 4 months of quiet. I figure I'm going to locate replacement pads and drop the leafs. I'll install the new pads and then swap the right and left leaf pack to get rid of the right to left tilt. When I get the time that is.

Funny that I have a street driven only 98 4dr with 73K. You'd think the leafs would hold up a little better then they have.

FOUND it!!!!

The tranny mount was shot and bolts were lose

I got the front shocks on, in about 20 min but then worked on the tranny mount for about an hour. It's bad ass not having a truck that crunches and creaks constantly!!!
