Thanks to bigtigexplorer for selling me his old changer, and big thanks to www.radiosandmore.com for helping me out with the correct harness. This is the info bigtigexplorer gave me:
F8VF-18C830-AE is a engineering number which equates to a XW1Z-18D806-AA part number. This is the # for all changers used in Explorers from 9/30/98 -> 6/28/01.
I emailed and called radiosandmore, and talked to Ron. He was very helpful, and told me exactly how to install the harness. Harness XU3F-14588-AB for installing in center console is $36, shipping overnight was $5.
This time next week, I should have it all installed, ready to go.
