im gonna get some but i was wondering. just the one set of bulbs, does that change the highbeams/flasher lights too or do i have to replace those some other way. i mean, is it just one lightbulb for the high/low beams or 2 seperate bulbs-92 xlt

As far as I know, it's a one-bulb system... just go to any shop and ask which bulbs are required... It's something like the 9003's, but don't quote me on that... it won't affect the flashers at all though, because those are a separate bulb... But, do the Xenon lights just give off a "whiter" light, or are they higher powered bulbs? If they're higher power bulbs you will likely need a ballast and new wiring for them...

Also, a question of my own: What are the highest powered bulbs I can put in the truck? If I want to go with H4's, do I need to use a ballast? How about for fog/off-road lights... if I want to use a halogen system, is there any special setup I need, or can I run them through a relay off the battery?

but so when i put my high beams on for dark driving they will the the orangish dim color and not the new xenon bright white/blue?

Nope, they should be white... it'll be the same bulbs as far as I know, so whatever changes happen to your low beams, you'll have the same changes for high beams... just make sure you're not going to be drawing too much current for your wires to handle... I'm not sure if the bulbs are a different wattage than the stock ones, or if they run hotter, or if they're just designed to give off a white light... if they're a different wattage you'll have to do a bit of wiring as well... other than that I suppose you should be ok...

Are we talking about "fake" HID bulbs like in auto stores? Or a real HID setup? The real stuff is a total conversion. I assume your talking about just the bulbs. The correct bulbs are 9004. They are dual filament. Meaning 1 bulb that has 2 different filaments, 1 for low beam, 1 for high beam.
Some of these bulbs are DOT approved & work great & are brighter then standard lights. However some claim higher wattage, but might melt your wires/housing.
I recommend PIAA platinums. www.piaa.com

i got some silverstar ultra's or something like that from a local auto store and i can say they are a little bit brighter but they are nothing like what i expected-ultra bright white with a little blue tint. theres no blue at all and they really arent that hyperwhite look that i was expecting. o well

I can tell it from my own expirience: there is nothing better than real Xenon lights. I've tried so many solutions (till 130W bulbs), but nothing was really "lighten up" the things around me on the street.
Don't take only Single-Xenon. Take the Bi_Xenon: there is low- and hibeam together.

The systemwiring for the xenons was so easy to make. It's all pre-confectioned, means you have nothing to cut or so...

I will never ever give my xenon away...
