i was just at circuit city and they had Eurolite Xenon super plasma headlights for 40 dollars for a set of two. My other car an 01 acura came with these heardlights for an extra charge of 500 dollars. Ive noticed that my exlporer's lights arent that bright so i figured i might get these since its only 40 bucks but will it make a noticable difference? is it worth it?
thanks

yeah i'm hinking about getting those too. I askes about PIAA headlights and they said that they drain more power than their worth

For a couple of bucks more, you can get a set of SilverStars which puts out a whiter light.

they are a higher wattage then stock or the silverstars. watch out for heat problems. i have similar bulbs from best buy and they work great so far.

I think you are confusing Xenon with HID's. HID's would be like 500+, Xenon are just a fancy name for blue bulbs.

Super Plasma's

RUN AWAY RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought these for my X and my dad's mounty and we've collectively blown all 4 in the course of 6 months. I only paid $9 a set and still feel I got ripped off. Once the year warranty runs out I'll quit replacing them and just say frag it and never put these pieces of crap in my truck again.

I REPEAT>>

THEY ARE HORRIBLE

DO NO BUY THEM

USE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

didnt we have a post saying HID's are illegal or something?

They have always been illegal! The only way they are legal is if they came on your car or you have the entire replacement housings from Sylvaina. But they don't make them for Explorer's.
