i was searching and i ran across this
my truck has been exibiting this occasionally. Most of the time its real soft and sounds like a bad u joint but every once in a while its wicked loud, the whole car shakes and it sounds horrible. So i have 2 questions about this. 1: the loud clunk has happened maybe 5 times and the 4wd still works fine *knocks on wood*, how long do you think i have before it completely goes out and 2: will it still run in 2wd?
