xlt center console swap problem

I'd take nc up on his offer. The a/c duct you have installed does look wrond still. Didnt realize the explorers consoles duct work was that much diff. You will need the correct a/c duct that attaches to the truck if you swap console ducts. it probably wont fit right if you dont.

Just curious but why couldn't somebody remove just the part of the ducting in the regular explorer console that is in the way and add their own flexible ducting. They could mold it to fit up into place, wouldn't that be an option? You can buy flexible ducting in different sizes and materials, then just shape it, and route it to fit. I realize the front bracket is different as well, but it could be clearanced or modified as well couldn't it.
