I'm looking into getting the Delphi Skyfi unit and I was wondering, I don't have a tape player so I'd have to get the FM Modulator. The Modulator kit includes power for it too, so that would make 2 out of the 3 things in the car kit useless, So could I just go out and buy the tunner, fm modulator, and a Terk or some other antenna. Are the antennas universal as far as plugs go?

Ah crud, I forgot that the base came in the car kit too :( Any where I can pick up a cheap FM Modulator that would work with this?

You may as well get Delphi's Modulator if you value signal quality. Any "cheap" modulator will likely sound no better than the tape adaptor. Delphi has a very clean-sounding modulator. What type of head unit is this for?

cont'd

other than that, you're set. Keep in mind, there is an included XM antenna. As far as I know most, if not all, car antennas and tuners have the dual SMB connectors.

Its for an older Kenwood HU. It has no inputs so that is basically the only way to get it in.

How has everybody mounted theres? I saw a pic of aldive's but it wasn't very helpful :p Do I need an brackets?
