XP8 Wing.....Want one???????

ME TOO!!!! Now I don't know about you, but I've had absolutely NO success in finding an XP8 wing, or an entire body kit for that matter. I believe that somehow this can be changed and that all of you who want an XP8 wing can be satisfied, along with myself. It requires us only to make our voices louder. I e-mailed the Sales person at Saleen (robertr@Saleen.com) inquiring as to the availability of the XP8 body parts, to which I have recieved no response yet. I think if more people were to mail the department that it may be beneficial to all of us who would love to have a few parts off of that beautiful, but fleeting entity we all knew as the XP8. Make your voice heard! Who knows, maybe they'll make a few of em for us if there is enough of us that want them. Tell your friends on explorerunderground.com too, cause I know people there want em too. Oh, and respond in here too....I kinda want to see how many people want em cause I told them that there are like 10-15 people who want parts from the XP8. Thanks guys!!

Saleen stopped making parts for the XP8! So, they'll either ignore your e-mail or tell you you're SOL because they don't make anything for Explorers anymore.

BTW, you're added to the list of people that want a Saleen wing, you're number 5,000,001. As for the body kit, might as well forget about it. Sorry to be so blunt, but you're much better off finding an alternative to the look you're going for.

Wrong attitude. We need to be positive....There has GOT to be a way to get it done. There's too many people who would want one (either a kit or just the wing). All these people walking around with money in their hand looking for the XP8 wing has got to peak Saleen's interest at least a little bit.

How about we find another company to make a "fake" XP8 wing. Heck, lots of companies sell fake saleen wings for mustangs, shouldn't be too ahrd to get a XP8 one made. We should check with Cervini's, they could probably do it!

Remember: Whe you could buy the wing at Saleen it was about $400 AND $75 each for the struts so the glass does not thit the wing when you open it....

personally i don't want one... but trying another company is a good idea. i doubt that any number of people with money in hand would change saleen's mind about this, they make and sell turn key vehicles for very high dollar and this kind of little stuff is no longer of any importance to them.

None left. Just like EE and the S/C's, Saleen had a "run" of parts made for the XP8. They installed some and sold the excess and - they are done.

well guys here is the deal. i have a saleen wing that i bought about 5 months ago from saleen. i have not put it on the truck yet. in the meantime, i have purchased a saleen xp8 and no longer need the saleen wing. the wing is completely untouched and unpainted. i will put it on ebay as soon as i get a chance, unless someone makes me a very good offer. so i guess it goes down to how much somebody is willing to pay for it. later.....

Yes, most of us are aware of that site, but you have to remember, the XP8 wing also requires new lift gate shocks, which run $72 a piece.
