Yea, It's a Jeep Thing...

the frame and the body are one thing. There for there is no way to do a bodylift or anything of that nature. Just not the best design for offroad vehicles for many different reasons.

Also with the unibody design, with heavy offroad abuse the unibody can get overworked and develop cracks and then you're screwed unless you build a real frame over top of the unibody.

alright thats for explaining. understand now.

I had a j**p and I didn't understand so I bought My EXPLORER and now the j**p guys don't understand why my mostly stock ex is pulling them out of mud that their lifted junk wouldn't make it through

Jeeps don't float to well.

I don't think your Explorer would float in that stuff....that looks like gumbo from a washout.

Hello,

Hmm. I Saw One Of Those In A Junkyard. No BS, It Was Owned By A Church. They Painted Over The Body With What Looks Like Paper Mache!!! I Don't Think They Even Stripped The Paint Underneath Off! You Could Imagine This Thing Rolling Down The Highway. Wonder How They Keeped It Clean? I Also Saw Another One At a Junkyard With The Front End Smashed In, And The Hood Missing? No Clue Where That Went! :) Alas, For Us, I Saw A Explorer 98? That Was Completely Burned Out. At Least The Charred & Twisted Metal Was Holding Up A Ugly Suzuki Pretty Good!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! three inches of water!!!!!!!!!
Tough, very tough!!!!!!!!!!!
Get over it and buy an Explorer!!!!!!!!!!!

Arturo :hammer:
