Yet another tire thread!!

I have an 04 xlt with factory 17" wheels.. my father in law is planning on getting new tires for his truck and is willing to give me his old tires that are in a lot better shape than mine.. what im wondering is how 245/75R17 tires would look on my xlt and would the difference in diameter which is about 2 inches be a big difference and would it hurt the truck at all.. being stock with a 4.0 and 3.73 gear ratio

The 245 is the typical stock tire I believe. Mine came with 245 65 17s and a buddy of mine has the same thing on his ex

I believe mine has the same size but how much of a difference will the 75 instead of 65 make?

Diameter will increase 1.93" and when your speedo says 65 you'll be doing 70ish. I'd do it and just do 5mph less than the speed limit and be good.
